At Moose Ridge Coatings we have taken powder coating to new levels. The history of Moose Ridge Coatings is a simple one. We were started by a team of avid bow and firearm hunters that wanted a different look to our equipment. We were tired of looking just like everybody else out there. After doing an intensive search process we found that we weren't getting the anwers we were looking for. In 2006 we decided that in order for us to get what we wanted we were going to have to do it ourselves. A lengthy time of experimenting and researching began. Finally, we started to get the results we wanted. During our "learning period" we developed our marbled technigues, something that we are very proud of and can say that no one else in the indusrty is offering at this time. Unlike factory dipping where the pattern is repeated over and over again, we can gaurantee that no two items will ever look exactly the same.
In the summer of 2007 we began to realize that our customers were looking for something more in the camoflague area, along with what we could do with the limbs. Basically they simply wanted something that we could not offer with powder coating alone. We found DuraCoat and although is was developed for the firearm industry, it's versatility allows us to use it anywhere and on almost any surface. With it's almost 200 colors and 36 patterns we found a truly custom camo solution or maybe to even add a diffent twist to a bow or firearm. The best part is that you are not limited to the standard colors or patterns, we can mix different colors to come up with the exact one you're thinking of or design a one of a kind camo pattern or design. Love the camo on your new bow now? We can also seal that pattern with a special Matte Clear DuraCoat. This sealer bonds not only to the film but also the base layer paint making it almost impossible to rub off.
